We're retained by a $30M+ Series A security startup building ai agents for code & cloud vulnerabilities. They're hiring their first ever partnerships person to build the channel function from scratch — bringing their own deep cybersecurity reseller and VAR network to open pipeline alongside a direct sales motion.Ideal Profile — Someone who:
- Has been the first or earliest channel hire at a Series A/B security or B2B SaaS company and stood up the full function from nothing (partner tiers, deal reg, enablement, the lot)
- Has existing, working relationships with US cybersecurity resellers, VARs, and distributors they can activate from day one — this is non-negotiable
- Has experience activating cloud marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP) and turning passive listings into active co-sell pipeline
- Is energised by solo execution — running partner meetings, chasing co-sell, closing partner-sourced deals alongside AEs — not waiting to build a team
- Is hungry, credible in the security ecosystem, and owns a number
Reports to the CEO. Competitive OTE, uncapped variable, 70/30 split, meaningful equity.
