Innovating Without Fear: How Oasis Security Is Tackling the Explosion of Non-Human Identities

Written by:
Charlotte Harris

We recently sat down with Adam Ochayon, Director of Product Strategy & GTM at Oasis Security, to explore the company’s mission, what makes them stand out, and why the future of non-human identity management is so exciting.

A Mission to Let Innovation Flourish

Oasis Security’s mission is clear: “We want organizations to be able to innovate without worrying about their security,” Adam explains. But their focus isn’t on the usual suspects.

Instead, Oasis zeroes in on non-human identities - the accounts, credentials, APIs, and workloads that now make up the vast majority of an organization’s digital ecosystem.Over the past few years, the growth of non-human identities has skyrocketed, often outpacing human accounts by 20 or even 50 times. The challenge?

Most companies don’t have the tools, visibility, or controls to properly secure them.Oasis gives organizations the ability to see these identities, understand their usage, assess risk, and take action to lock down critical areas.

As Adam puts it, “Our goal is to help organizations manage the entire lifecycle - so today’s problems don’t become tomorrow’s breaches.”

What Makes Oasis Different

In a crowded security ecosystem, Oasis stands out by covering the full lifecycle of non-human identity management - from creation to decommissioning.Adam highlights their latest announcement from RSA: “We can now help companies provision non-human identities securely from the get-go, with built-in guardrails like business justification, ownership, and automatic rotation.”This end-to-end approach means organisations can not only identify risks but also proactively control access, privilege, and security as these identities evolve - without slowing down the business.

Born from Experience on the Front Lines

Oasis wasn’t born in a boardroom - it was sparked by real-world experience at the cutting edge of cybersecurity. Both founders come from the Israeli Defense Forces, where they worked on the offensive side of cyber operations.Adam shares their journey: “They started as exploit experts, laser-focused on vulnerabilities.

But by the time they left, they were Active Directory specialists.”Their core insight - that identity had become the new battleground - led to the founding of Oasis. As Adam says, “Hackers today don’t break in… they sign in.” Oasis was built to help organizations defend against that exact risk.

A Culture Fuelled by Curiosity and Customer Obsession

Culture is at the heart of Oasis’ success. Adam describes a team driven by curiosity, creativity, and customer focus.“You have to be willing to learn and push yourself into new areas - our space is still forming in front of our eyes,” he explains.

Creativity plays a big role, too, as the team constantly looks for fresh approaches to tough problems. But perhaps most importantly, Oasis is deeply customer-centric: “We’re not here to force our process on customers - we’re here to fit into theirs and help them succeed,” Adam says.

Looking Ahead: A Massive, Untapped Opportunity

For Adam, the most exciting part of Oasis’ future is the awakening he’s seeing across the industry.“Organizations spend huge amounts of time and money securing human identities, but those are only about 5% of the total,” he explains.

“The non-human side is a massive, untapped opportunity and the potential to help companies get ahead of that risk is enormous.”As more companies recognize the importance of securing these identities, Oasis is ready to help them take control.Oasis Security is shining a light on one of the most critical, under-addressed challenges in cybersecurity.

As organizations scale and innovate, Oasis is making sure they can do so with confidence - transforming how businesses manage and secure the fast-growing world of non-human identities.
